The Man of the Match goes to Mohammad Shahzad for his 72-run knock. He says that the pitch was good for batting. Adds that they had a plan and the batsmen chased it down well. Also says that he was waiting for the bad and loose deliveries and put them away. Ends up saying that he wants to carry this form ahead.
Samiullah Shenwari and skipper, Asghar Stanikzai helped them to get over the line with a 69-run for the the third wicket. The bowlers couldn't do much and were hit all over the place by all the Afghani batsmen. Another outstanding performance by Afghanistan. They have now won two out of two!
UAE were excellent with the bat today. They were bowled out cheaply yesterday but today their batsmen were quite brilliant. Their batsmen managed to get a a competitive scored on the board but weren't able to restrict the Afghanistani batsmen. They got out Mangal early on but were not able to stop Mohammad Shahzad. He attacked all the bowlers and played a scintillating knock of 74 runs and scored these runs only in 32 balls.
