If you are mumbai indians fans then Pollard has made this a night to remember for you .  Wankhede one of the best stadium for t20 match had featured this game as the last t20 of  IPL 2016 . 175 was never going to be difficult to chase, going by the records at this venue, but tonight, the pitch was a little difficult tonight.

Gautam Gambhir (Kolkata captain): Obviously we are not gonna give excuses and all that stuff. We did not bowl well. We had a platform for a big score and we had a lot of big hitters but unfortunately we could not do that. They bowled really well. We needed an innings like what Pollard played but they bowled professionally. Like I said, no excuses. 175 was never enough on this sort of a wicket. I am not a cricketer who is going to give excuses of dew. We are hard-working cricketers and we all are used to playing when the ball gets wet. The toss, dew and all are not in our hands.

Rohit Sharma (Victorious Mumbai skipper and Man Of The Match): It was a good game. We wanted this win very badly. I think we came out and were pretty determined to get the results we wanted. We stuck to our plans, although not on the field. We dropped so many catches (laughs). So we have got to get back to the dashboard. I think Pollard's form is crucial for us. I would like to thank the crowd for their support. Unfortunately we have to move, but their support was superb. Mumbai crowd is always good, they enjoy cricket, no matter which team plays. I am sure they would have hoped Pollard fires and he played and I am sure they must have enjoyed. (On the new home venue) I don't know, haven't decided yet. Wherever we play, we need to understand the pitch and conditions and adjust as quickly as possible.


If you see this stadium them you can easily say that Bowling second is never easy at the Wankhede as this stadium has witnessed many high scoring games . Shakib and Narine bowled well to go for just 52 in 8 overs combined, with 3 scalps but the rest struggled.
