Ambati Rayudu 124 of 133 Balls innings Highlights vs Zimbabwe
Elton Chigumbura was brilliant with the bat for the hosts and scored his 2nd ODI hundred, but didn't get enough support from the other end to take them through. The spinning duo of Axar Patel and Harbhajan Singh were good with the ball, picking up 3 wickets between them. Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the pick of the Indian bowlers for his consistent line and length and a brilliant last over which won India the nerve cracking match.
Not a convincing win, but India will take that. They have won the 1st ODI of the 3-match series. After a good batting display, where Ambati Rayudu scored a 124-not out and Stuart Binny came up with his career best 77 that took India to a good defendable total of 255/6. India in the 2nd innings came up with a decent bowling display to restrict Zimbabwe and win with a narrow margin of 4 runs.
Ambati Rayudu gets the Man of the Match for his brilliant hundred in the 1st innings.
