W OUT! My word, Watto catch! Two W's have pulled off a stunner! It was a length ball on middle, slower in pace. Iyer lofts it down the ground and Watson from mid on runs back towards long on, actually sprints back. He stretches his arms and grabs it but with the momentum he almost crosses the ropes but has the presence of mind to scoop the ball back and Wiese the man watching it dives forward to his left and plucks it with his left hand just near the ropes. He immediately stands and starts to celebrate but the umpire obviously goes upstairs to see if the drama was legal. Replays show it Watson scooped the ball before crossing the ropes, Wiese made no contact with the it and the most important, Aravind didn't overstep. Phew, this was a master-class attempt!
A brilliant catch has been taken in the deep but it is referred upstairs.
