Zimbabwe vs New Zealand, 1st ODI  Highlights - Aug 02, 2015

Chigumbura's dismissal made the Kiwis strong favourites to seal the game but the 18-run over in the 48th by Henry sealed the game.
Masakadza and Chibhabha provided the perfect platform with a 74-run opening stand. But just when the latter got going he was dismissed. Masakadza and Ervine then staged a 120-run stand and when Masakadza was dismissed, with 110 needed from 90 balls, it looked like Zimbabwe were favourites. But Chigumbura's decision to promote himself up the order went against the hosts as they started to fall back on the required run-rate.
Questions were asked today again with Chigumbura preferring to chase once more, having failed miserably against India. The old demons resurfaced, with the bowlers leaking more than 100 runs in the last 10 overs and allowing the Kiwis to cross the 300-mark. It seemed like yet again, Zimbabwe were going to go down. But it was not the case.
What a game. Craig Ervine is beside himself with joy. The crowd is dancing in the isles. Boy... Zimbabwe have played some wonderful cricket. Last evening, we saw Pakistan canter home to chase down 172 in a thrilling T20I against Sri Lanka. Today, it is Zimbabwe shocking the Kiwis. Chasing down 303 with an over to spare and just 3 wickets lost.
