Tillakaratne Dilshan became the 11th player to score 10000 ODI runs
Big win for Sri Lanka! They've beaten Pakistan by a huge margin. You got to give them three ticks for their batting, fielding and bowling today. They posted a mammoth total first up, thanks to a ton by Kusal Perera and fifties by Dilshan, Mathews and Siriwardana. Pakistan in reply kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Their batsmen got starts but failed to make it count. You've to give credit to Sri Lanka's fielding though.

Lots of ODI milestones happened in today's ODI. Kusal Perera crossed 1000 runs. Tillakaratne Dilshan became the 11th player to score 10000 ODI runs. Angelo Mathews picked up his 100th wicket and Mohammad Hafeez crossed the 5000-run mark.
The Sri Lankan bowlers kept the pressure on with their tight bowling and exceptional fielding. The hosts' fielding in this series was pretty mediocre and they came up today with a strong fielding side to thump Pakistan. Although Pakistan take the series 3-2! But the question remains on Pakistan's qualification for the Champions Trophy. As of now if West Indies don't play any series before the cut-off time then Pakistan will qualify.
Azhar Ali (Pakistan captain): We wanted to win this game so picked the same team. Credit goes to Sri Lanka, they played really well. We didn't bowl that well. Credit goes to the Sri Lankan batsmen, they played really well in the first half. We wanted to finish the series high with a win. But really happy as we won the series. The highlight of the series is the way we played. We played some positive cricket. The fielding was really exceptional. After a long time you've seen Pakistan fielding so well. Credit should be given to the coaching staff. This unit is really hungry. The senior players have responded well in crucial situations and they've guided the other players really well.
Man of the Series - Mohammad Hafeez: Whole team deserved this Man of the Series award. Really happy to do something for the team. Really happy with this win. Things are working for me. I'm trying my best in contributing towards the team. We changed the mindset and that really worked for us.
Mohammad Rizwan gets the rising talent award. Mohammad Hafeez gets the most colorful player of the series award.
Angelo Mathews (Sri Lankan captain): Yeah it was a clinical performance. Openers batted brilliantly and they set a platform. Milinda was a treat to watch. We just had to enjoy out there. We just had to go back to our basics especially with our bowling department. We had to stick to our line and length. We showed a bit of an improvement. We have to keep improving day by day.
Man of the Match - Kusal Perera: Team needed that knock. 3-2 margin and we're feeling really happy. Everyone did pretty well. (On both the Sri Lankan wins this series, he was the Man of the Match) I'm pretty happy with that. Always I'm trying to do my basics right.
