{Ashes 2015 Live updates} Rogers and Smith hit tons as Australia reached 337/1

The wicket looked a flat one as the batsmen were scoring runs freely. But they say don't judge a wicket unless both the teams play. To be honest England didn't bowl that bad, they just couldn't get any help from the wicket. They had their chances though but didn't take. Bell dropped Smith on 50 and since then the Australian has looked as good as ever. Moeen Ali was the lone English bowler to take a wicket today. Also this is only the second time at Lord's that just one wicket has fallen on opening day.

A happy Australian dressing room sums up the day.Australia won the toss and piled on 337 runs today for the loss of just one wicket. Warner got a start but was over aggressive and paid the price. Rogers was watchful early on and found good company in the name of Steven Smith. Both of them have added an unbeaten 259-run stand so far after smashing brilliant tons.
